The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which stars Lee Se-young, is based on a webtoon created by Angelique, Kim Neo UI, and Dotda.

Red Sleeve actor Lee Se-young will play Park Yeon-woo, a Josean Era lady whose spouse dies on the first day of their marriage. When someone threw her into a well, the former would not even have time to grieve his demise. Park Yeon-woo would soon find herself in 2023 South Korea, where everything was foreign and strange to her senses. She tries to find methods to travel back in time to her hometown, where she resided and lost her spouse on their wedding day. There, she encounters someone who resembles her one-day spouse Kang Tae-ha uncannily.

Several media sources have already verified that Baek In-hyuk will play Kang Tae-ha, a modern-day loner who does not believe in marriage or physical intercourse. Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha would resolve to marry on the basis of a compact in which they would not have any physical intercourse but would observe certain guidelines and live in the same house for their separate personal benefits.
