According to a report from Page Six, questions have been raised following additional statements made by Kevin O’Leary. The Shark’s Den alum was aboard a vessel crash which led to the death of two people on Lake Joseph, Canada.
The Dragon’s Den star claimed that the other boat didn’t have its navigation lights on at the time of the collision, moreover, Kevin claims it fled the scene of the crash on Saturday night while holding approximately 13 people on it.
Page Six reported that the authorities, on the other hand, have a different take on what happened. Joe Scali, the spokesperson for the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police – reported by Global News – said both boats left the scene and when they arrived at their respective locations, they reached out for emergency services.

TMZ claims the larger boat did have its lights on during the time of the 11:30 pm crash. Sources who spoke with the gossip publication claimed that O’Leary believes there exists video evidence which can prove the other boat didn’t have its navigation lights turned on.
Reportedly, the incident left two people dead, Gary Poltash, 64, and Suzana Brito, 48, from Florida and Ontario respectively. According to O’Leary, Linda was driving the boat at the time, and she passed a DUI test.
Another person on the boat was injured as well and had to get stitches at the hospital. Mr. O’Leary claims he has been cooperating with the police at the fullest extent of his abilities.
Kevin O’Leary, after making a name for himself as an entrepreneur and businessman, first became a reality star as one of the judges on Dragon’s Den and afterward for Shark Tank, for which he was widely liked by viewers for his direct manner of speaking.

Moreover, Kevin ran for the Conservative Party of Canada two years ago in 2017, however, he and his campaign cited a lack of support from the province of Quebec as the reason for why he couldn’t get in. According to his Wikipedia page, Kevin has $400,000,000 to his name.
